Launch of ACE II Project
The Eastern and Southern Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence Project (ACE II) was launched at a ceremony at the Inter Continental Nairobi on October 26, 2016. It was attended by Center Leaders, Vice Chancellors, Regional Steering Committee members and officials from the World Bank. The project will strengthen 24 selected centers to deliver quality post-graduate education and build collaborative research capacity in ﬁve regional priority areas: industry, agriculture, health, education and applied statistics.
